TRIBUTE FROM A FRIEND
From the moment George and I first met in the secondary school, and through our years together in the Civil Engineering class at UST, what stood out was his natural liking of friends who shared in his vision of working hard and having fun to achieve success and fulfillment. And when Joyce came along with her commitment to see George through the UST and beyond, and the two were so well matched, it became obvious that God had a great plan for a beautiful future family. He loved and cared for all people, and never stopped to make a difference in the community. The origin of these attributes became clearer when I briefly met George's mom. I recall encouraging George to stop smoking during a group vacation around 2002. By the next year's vacation, George was anxious to share the good news of his smoking cessation. Among others, George exercised his best judgment out of love for his wife and children, and for all of us. Thank God for giving us George on earth. I'm glad to have met him.
May George's goodness live on with him in heaven.
May God bless and shine his lights on Joyce and their children.
May George rest in peace.
