TRIBUTE FROM ARDAYFIO UNCLES & AUNTIES
“You sweep people away like dreams that disappear. They are like grass that springs up in the morning. In the morning, it blooms and flourishes, but by evening it is dry and withered.”
Psalm 90:5 & 6
To us, George was a very quiet, clever, good-looking boy; he was always very respectful and loving. We became close when often each and every one of us, especially the younger members, had to spend some of our schooling days with our big sister at their Kokomlemle home. In fact, some of us were with them when living at their family house in Adabraka too. Similarly, George and siblings also spent time with us in Odorkor when they had to put up with their grandmother and grandfather for some time.
He was a very smart-looking chap and brilliant in school; so, most of us predicted what we had in him an accomplished engineer. Much as we were close to him and the rest of the Korley family growing up, when the opportunity for him to move from Ghana to the States came, unfortunately, that seemed to have closed a wonderful chapter we had together. However, he continued to be a good admirer of his uncles and aunties anytime he met us in Accra.
The news of his demise was a shock as nothing had been heard about any indisposition or otherwise. We understand everything happened so suddenly.
We leave this to the omniscient God, who only does what is good for his children.
George, have a wonderful rest in the hands of God, the Almighty.
George, Yaa wo jobgan!!
